Marine Rescue NSW are searching for a person feared missing after a kayak was found floating on the Macleay River earlier today.

The kayak was the tender for a yacht moored in the river at South West Rocks. The yacht has been checked and no one has been found on board.
Vessels and Rescue Water Craft from Marine Rescue Coffs Harbour and Marine Rescue Trial Bay are searching, along with a Marine Area Command - NSW Police Force vessel from Coffs Harbour and a rescue helicopter.
NSW Police divers are expected on the scene tonight.
