The adoption drive will take place all over Australia at RSPCA shelters car centres and NSW Petbarn Adoption centres taking part.
All manner of animals are available from puppies to guinea pigs, and the hope is that many will find a new home after this weekend.
Available animals have been de-sexed, micro chipped, vaccinated, and have undergone behavioral assessments.
However, the RSPCA wants to remind everyone to think seriously before acting, many of the animals they are trying to re-home have ended up at the shelter due to pet owners being unable to care for them, don't start the cycle again.
