Sponsored by Phil and Mitch Starr, the day saw a great field of 78 players hit off in the 18 Hole Medley Single Stableford event.
There were also a good number of visitors from Crescent Head, Frederickton and South West Rocks as well.
Despite the wet conditions, the course was excellent and a big thank you goes to our head greenkeeper Graeme for doing a fantastic job during the week.
Overall, the day was a success, and Phil has promised it will be bigger and better next year with lots more prizes up for grabs.
Taking out the 'A' grade on Saturday was Brad Cooper from the Frederickton club with a very good round of 42 points, while the runner up spot was Glen Tuckwell with his round of 37 points.
Gail Simon, who was out early on Saturday morning, produced a round of 40 points to claim the 'B' grade winners prize on Saturday, and the runner up with a score of 38 points was Murray Addison.
Ben Holten was the 'C' grade winner this week after his round of 41 points; the runner up was Elizabeth Tehan from the Crescent Head club with 33 points.
Taking out this week's Super Tee ntp was Duane Button with a nice 2nd shot to the 18th green.
In the weekly ball competition, the winners were players with a score of 32 points on a countback, and they can be collected from the pro shop at the club anytime along with any unclaimed vouchers from the event.
Coming up tomorrow at the club is the 2020 Macleay Argus Open 18 hole Medley 4 ball Aggregate Stableford. All intending players wishing to play can book in now at the club or go online to book in for your round.
All players are asked to carry a bucket and replace your divots as the course is still very wet, let's keep our course in good condition.
Last Sunday at the club the Qualifying round for the 2020 Volkswagen Scramble was held and the winning team going to the Regional Final to be held at The Bonville Golf Club was Campbell Hoskins, Nathan Moran, Fred Dickson and Duane Button junior.
Congratulations to all the volunteers, and a big thank you goes to all the helpers on the day and to the team at the club.
