The tough decision came as all non-essential businesses around Kempsey have been closed to help stop the spread of the virus.
So far this year, there have been two winners crowned, and the Sportsperson of the Year for 2019 was announced in January.
March: Amber Field- The talented 9-year-old's smiling determination has seen her win many accolades in swimming, but also the respect and admiration of her peers and coaches.
February: A three-way tie for the first time after Levi, Bobbi and Franki Ward all achieved great things in their sport, and were all recognised for their achievements.
2019 Sportsperson of the Year: Kaine Parkinson was selected as the Kempsey Macleay RSL Club's Sportsperson of the Year for 2019.
The talented rugby league player was selected for several representative teams, and contributed to the Macleay Valley Mustangs first-grade premiership.
