Meanwhile, the NSW Government has now changed the eligibility of the $10,000 Small Business Support grant to allow golf clubs that are registered as a 'Public Company' with 'Not for Profit' status to claim. The grant previously precluded public companies limited by guarantee, including clubs, from applying.
Note that golf clubs are listed as a highly impacted industry, so they will not need a letter from an accountant/auditor to demonstrate the reduction in revenue.
The $10,000 grant can be used to cover various unavoidable expenses, including: utilities, telecommunications, and insurance, as well as wages and salaries which are not subsidised through the JobKeeper program.
