Kempsey's Cedar Place urges people to discuss influenza vaccination with their health practitioner or pharmacy provider.
"Acceptable forms of evidence may be a statement or record from a health practitioner; or an immunisation history statement available from Medicare online or the Express Plus Medicare mobile app," Cedar Place recreational activities officer Donna Gill said.
Requirements
The following people will not be permitted entry to NVC's homes:
. People who have returned from overseas in the past 14 days
. People who have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days
. People with fever or symptoms of acute respiratory infection (eg cough, sore throat, runny nose, shortness of breath)
. People who do not have an up-to-date (ie 2020) influenza vaccination
. Children aged 16 years and under (exemptions can be assessed on a case-by-case basis, for example, where the resident is in palliative care).
