A four team final series has been proposed for both competitions after clubs considered the affects of the HSC and the need to work with local cricket associations.
For the Kempsey Cannonballs in the UMNC, the starting date will be July 18 with a grand final to be played on October 10.
If the competition does go ahead the Cannonballs will have the home advantage against SCU Marlins in round one.

The commencement of these competitions will only occur if Rugby Australia along with federal and state governments approve a return to play for community sport.
As MNC Rugby Union Executive Officer, Bob Wilson, previously told the Argus, a return to competition will be difficult if clubs aren't able to run a canteen or bar.
The absence of these services won't be cost effective for MNC clubs, with no income being generated on match day.
This income covers costs such as ground maintenance, flood lights and other game day expenses.
Due to the uncertainty surrounding finances, the MNCRU has reduced affiliation fees to ensure the competition is played on a low budget.
Once a document outlining the final guidelines and restrictions/requirements is released from governments and Rugby AU, a decision will be made by MNCRU in consultation with clubs on whether to proceed with the 2020 competition.
