"During the week I went down to the Kempsey police station and asked if they could help deliver my sons cake, he really idolises police," Chloe told the Argus.
"I left my details with an officer at the station; I honestly didn't think they would have time to send anyone though."
"But at 5 pm, a lovely senior constable pulled up at my sons little birthday party with lights flashing to deliver the cake."
Chloe says her son's goal is to join the police force when he is old enough, and the senior constable was only too happy to give the future cadet a few tips.
"Benji has always wanted to become a Highway Patrol Officer; it's been his goal since he could talk," she said.
"It was really exciting; the constable was so great with the kids, and he chatted to them about becoming an officer and put on a bit of a light show."
The whole event was caught on video and has over 15 thousand views on the social media website Tik Tok.
