Both golf and horse racing have continued competitions, albeit under COVID-19 restrictions. Greyhound racing also lifted travel restrictions as of June 1.
Here is what we know so far on some of the Macleay's sporting codes and activities return to play dates:
Junior Sport
Competitions for players 18 years and under can restart from July 1.
Gymnasiums, yoga, indoor pools and dance studios
Can re-open as of June 13. There must be 10 people per class and 100 people in an indoor venue with pools and saunas operating with restricted numbers
Rugby League
Group Three Rugby League was supposed to start on May 2. However, as reported last week only three clubs have indicated a willingness to play this year, so the code is on hold until 2021.
It's not yet clear if the Macleay Valley Mustangs, would be able to play in another group by invitation.
No word yet on the Hastings League.
Football

Rugby Union
