The Crescent Aquatic Centre has certainly felt these affects but they've made the most of their forced downtime to improve the standard of their facility and ensure all visitors can have an excellent swimming experience upon re-opening.

The centre offers a 25 metre heated pool with 6 lanes along with a shaded baby pool and picnic tables. The complex also includes gym facilities.
Recently, the NSW government relaxed restrictions with fitness, gymnasiums, pilates, yoga and dance studios able to re-open from June 13 with up to 10 people per class and 100 people in an indoor venue.
Some indoor recreational facilities including pools and saunas can also re-open with restricted numbers.
The aquatic centre won't be one of those pools re-opening as they're currently in their annual maintenance period of June and July - waiting until August to unveil the improvements and changes they've made to the facility.
"Being an outdoor heated pool it basically becomes impossible to keep the water at a temperature conducive to swimming during these colder months," Mason Marchment, managing director of the centre, told the Argus.
"We will re-open on Monday August 3 with our normal winter season hours for what we call our winter season."
The pool offers a great range of learn to swim lessons, mini, junior, senior and adult squads along with gym programs and aqua fitness classes for strength & conditioning all utilised in the complex along with the Crescent Head Pointers Swimming Club.
"We're in the process of having amenities added to the complex after receiving government funding, painting of the pool area has been done whilst we've also implemented some artwork to keep children engaged and interested in the baby pool," Mr Marchment said.
"We have some more plans in place as well and will be able to reveal them all once we're open for business in August.
"We're really looking forward to having everyone back on pool deck again."
