Khanacross is an entry level motor sports event where drivers compete for a time trial, single car at a time, on an open paddock racing around flags with a timed lap.
During the day the event hopes to get up to around six laps at a time, which is timed against class, category, ladies and juniors.
KSCC Vice-President, Benn Farrawell, explained that there is a rigorous process the club has to meet before competition in order for them to be fully compliant with COVID-19 regulations.
"This weekend we have full contactless paperwork, normally we do documentation in the morning but now everything has be completed and paid prior to the day," he told the Argus.
"We're also providing plenty of sanitiser and wipes for cars that are being used to wipe down steering wheels.
"Competitors are also required to stay with their own vehicles in the pits, with no passengers or navigators permitted unless it's a junior with their own family."
Further to these regulations spectators won't be allowed at the event, making it competitors only.
The second round of the series is fully certified by Motorsport Australia with the club obtaining a permit to conduct their events.
Competitors are also required to complete a Motorsport Australia self scrutiny declaration and checklist.
Farrawell is expecting strong numbers for the clubs return to competition.
"We're hoping to see around 20 to 30 competitors participating as everyone gets back into the groove of racing," he said.
