With COVID19 rules still applying the players were again very good on course and around the club on a day when good scores were returned.

Among the large field were visitors from Crescent Head, Frederickton, SWR and Chalambar golf clubs.

To Barry a big thank you for your support of the day and to the helpers out and about during the week getting the course in tip top condition for the event.

On the day also was the Qualifying round of the 2020 4b KO competition with the top 8 pairs progressing through into the draw.

Taking the day with a very good score of 46 points despite the soft conditions was the pairing of Fred Dickson and Daniel Slater who had a one point margin over the runner up pair of Jill Stringer and Peter Garty on 45.

Brody Clarke, who was one of the first players out at 7am, won the individual event with a round of 41 points.

On the day Barry did award two special prizes for the best Junior which was won by Carlin Dunbar-Rudd and to the best Young Adult (under25) which was won by Daniel Baker.

In the weekly ball competition the winners were players with a score of 40 points in the 4b event on a countback and they can be collected from the pro shop at the club anytime along with any unclaimed vouchers from the event.

The draw for the 4b KO has been made and is up at the club for those in it and the first round must be played by July 25th.

Saturday at the club will be the 2020 Winter Cup as part of the Kempsey Macleay RSL 18 hole Single Stroke event for the Monthly Medals in each grade.

The winner of the Winter Cup will be the player with the best net score over the field on the day.

The Cup is on display at the club for all to see.

All players wishing to play can book in now at the club or go online to book in for your round and remember you must still obey the COVID19 rules at the club.

Anyone wishing to book a cart must book in now for tomorrow as they are booked out very early.

A reminder to club members that the postponed Club Championships from May are now to be played in August with the first round on Saturday August 1st followed by the next 2 Saturday's.
