THERE'S lots happening in the sporting world with an array of competitions kick starting as NSW Government continues to ease restrictions on community sport.
Football has already returned in the Macleay with Netball and AFL scheduled for this weekend whilst the Lower Mid North Coast Rugby Union competition kicked off on Saturday.
Indoor sport has become somewhat of a forgotten entity in all the community sport discussion but it's about to return to the limelight with the Macleay Indoor Sports and Development Centre announcing their intention to re-open on July 20.

Indoor cricket will be the first to start with Mixed Soccer on July 21 and Thursday July 23 will see squash begin.
Owner and director of the centre, Shannon-lee McKiernan is delighted that the centres operations are returning close to normal.

"I'm really excited to connect back with the community and see everyone come through the doors," she told the Argus.
"Our regular patrons are all keen and excited to get back, and we love being overflowed with interest.
"We're encouraging everyone, new and old, to dust off the cobwebs, bring some mates and participate in our competitions.
"We're not just tapping into our sporting bodies as well, various community groups are all encouraged to come, socialise and get their sporting fix."
COVID-19 guidelines for the centre require constant sanitising and consistent wiping of surfaces with the centre enforcing a 10-minute changeover period.
"We'll be asking people to come, play and go straight away, allowing 10 minutes in between games so that people can flow through easily and less congestion in an indoor space," McKiernan explained.
The indoor centre will come into this season with a spring in their step after they were announced recognised as Indoor Facility of the Year by Cricket NSW back in May.
