Due to the unavailability of coaches, Frederickton will be the only golf club in the area hosting sessions according to Golf Club president, Sue Webster.
"We'll be the only junior golf program in the Kempsey area for a while, all clubs lost their coaches, including ours but we've managed to bring back previous coach Dave Knox," she told the Argus.
Knox previously ran the program for two and a half years and as a whole it's existed for the last five years.
Mrs Webster says there's always strong numbers and always encourages new participants.
"Normally we see around 12 to 20 partake each year and hope to pick up a few more of those who were wishing to play at other clubs," she said.
"The aim of these programs is to teach juniors the rules, how to play and proper golf etiquette."
The training courses will start on Sunday August 30 at 9am with players from the ages of 3-18 years old permitted to join in.
To become a junior member at Frederickton Golf Club costs $25 whilst coaching lessons are $5 a week.
