A bumper nine races were scheduled for the day, however Race 1 was abandoned.

Race 2, the Gladstone Hotel Maiden was taken out by Miss Cheeky, owned and trained by Shane Watkin of Wherrol Flat.
Race 3, Smart Tiles was won by Awesome Buddy, trained by Samuel Rees of Karuah whilst second place had a local connection with Newtown Jet runner up, trained by Leeanne Walker of Verges Creek.
In Race 4, the Crescent Head Country Club stakes, Zipping Enid was the winner with Maximum Temper winning Race 5, the L-BO Butchery Stakes.
Leanne Walker would've been delighted with the RSL Stakes, Race 6, with her greyhound, Fab Nikki, running to victory.
Race 7, the Macleay Air Conditioning Stakes, was won by Chill Out Fordy. The Akubra Stakes in Race 8, saw Pegasus Pal run first whilst Tiri Levi won Race 9, Heights Bowling Club Stakes.
The club's next meeting will be September 5.
