SATURDAY saw Smithtown Tigers little legends take to Smithtown Oval in Group 2 Junior Rugby League with all intentions of running hard and scoring as many tries as possible.

This year the Tigers have teams in the under 7's, 9's, 10's, 11's, 12's, 13's, 14's and 16's women's league tag.

Unfortunately, the Tigers juniors came up short in most grades with close contests throughout.
In under 12's the score finished 12-8 in favour of the travelling Woolgoola side whilst Tigers' 13's side had a close 20-18 loss.
Kempsey Dragons were also apart of Group 2 Junior Rugby League action with their under 11's side coming away with a large 44-6 win over Bellingen-Dorrigo Magpies.
The Dragons also won their under 14's contest with a 16-6 victory of Woolgoola.
This weekend, Smithtown's sides will be spread out all across the Mid North Coast with 7's, 9's and 11's at Bellingen whilst 8's play at Nambucca.
Under 10's play in Coffs Harbour, 12's and League Tag at Orara with 13's in Sawtell, 14's at Kempsey and 15's in Woolgoola.
