The summer competition starts in September and the Representative season is looming, with calls for player, coach and manager expressions of interest for any seniors wanting to be considered for selection to participate at both the October NSWTA Country Championships on the Central Coast and the December NSWTA State Cup in Port Macquarie.
Last year Macksville sent a record number of teams across a variety of divisions with some brilliant results.
Expressions of interest (EOI) close August 16, with trials being held on Monday, August 17, from 6pm.
Player EOIs must be registered and players must also register and play in the local competition to meet NSW Touch's eligibility to compete criteria.
All information regarding trials can be found on the Falcons new website - macksville.nswtouch.com.au - under "news".
On the website you can also find the links for player and team registrations as the summer season gets underway.
For several years we have had each division at capacity so get in early to avoid your team missing out.
All games are played on a Thursday afternoon/evening with competition comprising junior divisions and a senior mixed competition with A, B and C grade.
This year will also include the very popular "All Abilities" program which has been specifically designed as a completely inclusive program, providing the opportunity for people of all ages with an intellectual and/or physical impairment to learn touch football skills and play sport with the wider community.
This year's program will start on October 15 with a six week duration. The club is also hoping to take an All Abilities team to compete in the NSW State Cup.
COVID-safe plans will be in place and strictly adhered to for all MTFA trials and competitions.
