The three cars were parked at the same house when the theft occurred and property was stolen from each vehicle.
Police remind all car owners to make sure they lock their vehicles when unattended and not to leave any valuables in them and to report all crime to police as soon as possible.
"A good quality alarm fitted to the vehicle could also assist," a police spokesperson said.
Tips for vehicle security
Install a high quality electronic alarm. This is a good deterrent to theft. Make sure you activate it every time you park, even if you are getting out only for just for a few minutes.
Lock up every time. Always lock doors, close windows and your sunroof every time you leave your car.
Never leave your keys in the ignition. Even if you leave your car for a minute, take the keys with you. It can be stolen in an instant. Remember, it is actually illegal to leave your car unattended while it is running, keys in the ignition, not secured or not applying the handbrake.
Park wisely. Park in well-lit areas at night. Even if it means walking a little further. Try to avoid quiet back streets where there are few passers-by.
Don't tempt thieves. Never leave navigator devices visible in your vehicle. Jackets, mobile phones and loose change can also be a target for offenders.
Report any suspicious activity as soon as possible by phoning Kempsey Police Station on 6561-6199.
