If there is one thing that remains certain in these crazy COVID times, it is that we need to eat ... and what better than locally grown, farm fresh produce.

A new fortnightly farmers' market at Eungai Creek will be offering just that, starting on Friday, September 4.
Coordinator Linda Craig of Kooinda Farm said the success of the Eungai Creek Food Exchange was the catalyst for the new market, which will be held at the Eungai Creek Soldiers Memorial Hall.
"We are starting small, keeping it simple, chemical-free and COVID-safe and we'll see how it goes," Linda said.
"We are hoping to have produce from farms in the Nambucca Valley down to the Northern Macleay Valley. There are so many brilliant growers around here ... we are putting our feelers out and hoping people will get on board."
The market will be held from 3.30 to 5.30pm and with produce (so far) including herbs, farm eggs, Australian native flowers and plants, cut flowers, lemongrass, ginger, Yacon plants and more.
If you would like to book in a stall please email Linda Craig at Kooindafarm@gmail.com. You can also visit their new Eungai Creek Farmers Market Facebook page.
