Their league tag girls may have suffered extra-time heartbreak but the Smithtown Tigers still have a lot to look forward to next weekend with their under 10s, 14s and 15s sides reaching the Group 2 junior rugby league grand final.

All three teams played semi-finals in Nambucca and came away with victory.
The 15s defeated Bellingen-Dorrigo Magpies 28-0, 14s won 26-16 over Bowraville whilst 10s gained victory in a thriller against Woolgoolga with a 20-18 final scoreline.
"The boys showed a mental toughness and determination to get the results in the end and come away with the victory," Smithtown's 14s coach Jason McKiernan said after Bowraville pushed them to their limits.
The 14s will meet the Kempsey Dragons in their grand final after they defeated Woolgoolga 60-6 in an extremely dominant display.

Schedule for Smithtown's fixtures this Saturday are:
- Under 10s - Bowraville vs Smithtown 9am
- Under 14s - Kempsey vs Smithtown 1pm
- Under 15s - Coffs Harbour vs Smithtown 3:25pm
All games will be played at Woolgoolga Sports Ground.
Group 2 junior rugby league will continue to enforce COVID restrictions on the day with one parent per child whilst players will be encouraged to play their game and head off home.
Members of the crowd are encouraged to abide by social distance laws and sign in to the registers available.
