Plying their trade for the South West Rocks Cricket Club on weekends the girls have been consistently selected in the academy for quite a few years now.

Zoe is currently 16 and first started representing the academy in 2016, now playing under 19s whilst Ava, 14, started in 2018 and plays 16s.
The academy is a squad of 25 players with the North Coast zone covering the Queensland border to Forster.
If country championships are able to go ahead this year that's where Zoe and Ava will be able to show off their skills on the representative stage and hopefully make the state squad for their age groups.
As an all-rounder who turns the ball from right to left with bamboozling leg-spinners, Zoe's goal is simple for the upcoming season.
"I'd love to get a hat-trick this season, I think that'd be pretty cool," she told the Argus.
Meanwhile Ava is a wicket-keeper and batter and has the state squad as one of her goals whilst endeavouring to progress her career "one step at a time".
