A TEENAGER has been charged with 12 property-related offences, alleged to have taken place in the Kempsey area.

Charges include breach of bail, aggravated break and enter, commit serious indictable offence, armed with intent to commit indictable offence, malicious damage and break and enter with intent.
Police will allege in court, that the accused has been involved in several break and enter offences since April 2020 in the West and South Kempsey areas.
Since early 2020, officers from the Mid North Coast Police District have been investigating several break and enters throughout the Kempsey area.

After being notified of an offence in South Kempsey, officers arrived on the scene and saw the accused allegedly in the front yard of a property.
A foot pursuit ensued before police arrested the teenage boy inside a nearby shed.
Bail was formally refused, and the case will return to children's court in December.
Officers from the Mid North Coast PD Proactive Crime Team will continue to target recidivist property offenders in the region.
