With the sun drying out conditions after significant overnight rainfall the Rocks won the toss and elected to bat.
Woodger and Mick Chalker got their side off to the best possible start giving away minimal chances to deliver a 78 run opening stand.
When Chalker fell on 32 to the bowling of Ethan Brown (2/32) the wickets began to come consistently for Rovers but Woodger remained immovable from the other end.
A sensational diving catch from Ben Brennan removed Hayden Williams for 14 before Woodger was bowled by Ross Field (3/37) for a dominant 80 runs.
With the score at 5/176 Rovers then finished off the tail with special mention to a one-handed screamer from Brett Williams to make the score 6/193.
Brennan (2/31) and Ross Field added the remaining batsman to their wicket tally as the Rocks finished with a score of 203 all out from 39.1 overs.
Rovers were off to a decent start as Brett Williams attacked the opposition bowlers.
At 2/59 the game sat in the balance before Woodger once again did the damage.
Williams (46) was out to Woodger just before the drinks break with the score at 3/78, sparking a collapse in the batting order as a moth plague descended on the Golf Club, wrecking havoc for the umpire, fielders and batsman alike.
Rocks opening bowler Patrick Cotter along with Woodger were the main destroyers with Cotter on a hat-trick at one stage.
The next seven wickets fell for a total of 61 runs as Rovers were bowled out for 139.
Woodger finished with figures of 5/39 off 8 overs whilst Cotter (2/26 off 8) and Hayden Williams (2/10 off 5.1) were also among the wicket-takers.
