Stuarts Point/Eungai v Rovers WKH:
First blood has been drawn for Stuarts Point/Eungai as the men up north secured their maiden win of the season on Saturday in one of the weekend's most dominant displays.
Rovers WKH were first to pick up their bat but with only eight available batsman the Kempsey side weren't off to the greatest start.
Zach Martin started his onslaught with the ball to claim the first four wickets and have Rovers at 4/17.
Ryan McKiernan was solid at the other end but was eventually run out for 20 before his side were bowled out for 66 from 16.4 overs.
Martin finishing with figures of 4/16 off 5 overs.
The opening stand of the home side took the game away from Rovers immediately.
Captain Jake Jeffery raced away to 34 runs off 20 balls with four 4's and two 6's before he was dismissed with the score at 43.
Aaron Cooper soon followed him but there was no concern for the batting side who passed the total only two wickets down in an amazing 7.4 overs.
Nulla C&G v Nulla Bucketeers:
It was the battle of club-mates at Kemp Street Sports Fields with the Bucketeers sending in C&G to bat.
Bucketeers would've been happy with their decision with Joshua Murray run out for a diamond duck at 1/2.
However, George Hill had another plan in mind and would make his opposition pay for their decision at the toss.
The first drop batsman went on a rampage to finish not out on 120 off 118 balls with 14 boundaries in total.
C&G finished 6/211 off their 40 overs with Mark Smee (1/32 off 8) the best of the bowlers.
The Bucketeers were off to a decent start with an opening stand of 60 and at 2/117 the run chase was potentially on before Michael Heuston started to rip through.
Heuston removed Harry Dowling and Luke Flanagan to have the opposition at 4/143 and when Joshua Murray dimissed Phillip Dowling for his 47 off 24 balls the game was C&G's for the taking.
From the fifth batsman down not one managed to reach double figures as Heuston (4/25 off 4.5) and Murray (3/28 off 4) finished off their opposition to bowl them out for 165 from 37.5 overs.
Nulla Billy Goats v Rovers HISC:
At Eden 2 Nulla Billy Goats thought they'd match the decision-making of their Bucketeers friends and send in Rovers for a hit.
At 2/3 Rovers weren't off to a great start and the fall of the third wicket brought Emma Ross to the crease.
With the score at 8/77 Rovers were in trouble but the 45-run partnership of Ross and Justin Millard gave their side something to defend.
Ross finished on 29 and Millard 37 with their side bowled out for 153 from 37.1 overs with Rusiru Thakshila the main destroyer (4/17 from 4.1 overs).
Despite a defend-able target the game was essentially over when Mitchell Clarke walked out with bat in hand.
The opener carried his bat to a sensational score of 88 with support from Trent De Gioia (24*) at the other end.
Nulla reached the score two wickets down in 20.5 overs with best bowling figures from Craig Rosten (1/5 off 4).
