Last weekend both boys participated in the Redloh Cup at Somersby in the Central Coast, walking away with some sensational results.
Jayden, participating in the 9-16 class, finished third for the cup and will be looking to improve on that result next year.
"I won the B Final to get into the final cup race and got a bad gate but finished third - hopefully I can take it out next year," Jayden told the Argus.
Speedway racing has always been in the blood for Jayden with his relations, Chris and Jack, both representing Australia on the international stage.
He's won an array of national and state titles throughout a short career and doesn't care when coming up against the bigger boys.
Jayden's got high goals for his career and hope to match the achievements of his family.
"I'm not intimidated (coming up against 16 year olds)," he said.
"I love the adrenaline and I hope one day to be the world champion just like Chris."
For Sonny Spurgin, he progressed from dirt bikes to motorbikes about a year ago and isn't looking back.
The youngster participated in the 7-9 class on the Central Coast and put in an unbelievable display - staying undefeated throughout the day, winning five heats and the final.
For Sonny, his goals and motivation are similar to Jayden.
"I just got into it because it's a great sport and I hope to be a world champion too," he told the Argus.
Sonny's father, Tim, noted the last seven winners of the Redloh Cup have gone on to achieve their speedway goals throughout Europe.
Both boys will head to Kurri Kurri this weekend for the Craig Boyce Speedway Experience teams event with an eye on 2021 as the Australian titles sidewinders speedway event in South Australia draws near.
