After the first two years, the results were one apiece, and both teams were going to play hard to get that third win.
Similar to previous years, the Indigenous All-Stars, captained by Darren Holten, and the Kempsey All-Stars, captained by Tim Mecham, contested 12 very close matches, however, at the end of play, the Indigenous All-Stars took the day with eight games to four.
Both captains agreed the day was a big success and hope to see a much bigger day next year, hopefully without COVID-19.
The winning pair in the shield play was Chris Kerr and Conrad Tamblyn with a net 643/4 on a countback from Darren Holten and Dempsey Donovan with Jake Smith and Mick Davis in 3rd spot on 65.
A very big thank you goes to Tim and Darren for the day and to the sponsorship from many different company's.
