Ruby Trappel took out the top award, along with a trophy and a $100 voucher to the Kempsey Macleay RSL Club restaurant.
Ruby has had a huge year achieving excellent results in multiple sporting codes, from netball and soccer to school swimming carnivals, athletics and cross country.
Currently in Year 8 at St Paul's College, the school saw fit to honour her efforts as well, with the C&C Cavanagh Award for Sports Woman of the Year.
This was the first time in nearly two decades that both the Sports Woman and Sports Man of the Year awards went to Year 8 students.
