There will be more than 140 activities shire wide - and workshops are already filling fast, so people are urged to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
The variety of events is spectacular - from 2D and 3D art, many types of music, drama, poetry, busking, photography, and the written word through to pavement art.
Some of the highlights will include:
- A special Artisans Market on Saturday in Bellingen
- On Sunday at Urunga the Opening Ceremony will feature the unveiling of David Bromley's amazing mural
- And on Sunday January 17 there will be a big concert in the Memorial Hall - the last event at that venue before the hall closes for renovations. Rising world music star Yossa Haile and band will perform their unique and infectious Ethiopian grooves. Local legendary acts include: Samba Soul drum and dance band led by Kaya Boom; Funkatu bringing the tribal funk; deadly Gumbayngirr act Jumbaal Dreaming featuring Uncle Martin Ballangary and; the delightful Bellingen String Quartet. Of course being Bellingen, there could be more surprises in store.
And throughout the week in Dorrigo anyone can try their hand at creating an interesting 'community' sculpture
