Rovers increased the tempo for their second match of the day at Kempsey Golf Club with opener Ethan Dowling scoring 20 runs off the first over.
Dowling (30) and Tim Holmes (21) combined for a 40 run opening stand to get their side off to a great start.
Nick Morrison (1/24 off 4 overs) managed to keep things economical at his end as did Beau Mainey (2/12 off 4 overs) to ensure Rovers didn't reach a huge total.
Ethan Brown (27 off 17 balls) provided some entertainment before being dismissed by his work apprentice Flynn O'Loughlin (2/24 off 3 overs) as Rovers finished with 9/161 off their 20 overs.
With an injury from the previous match and Holmes leaving early Rovers were left with nine fielders but would've been encouraged by a positive start.
Nulla found themselves 2/13 with Scott Witchard (2/21 off 4 overs) ripping through.
O'Loughlin came in at four and provided a talking point for this week's work site, taking a liking to the bowling of Brown as he advanced his sides total to 4/58 at the time of his dismissal.
At 5/64 Nulla were in a spot of bother but the lack of fielders started to prove a burden for Rovers as Bryce Widdison and Martin Nicholls picked apart the opposition.
The batsmans 99-run partnership saved the day for their side with Widdison (46*) and Nicholls (54*) staying unbeaten and reaching the target in 18.2 overs.
