Tuesday February 9 was the first round of the annual Bill Medley Shield event.
It was great to see this event kick off again after a crazy year where the Crescent Head Sports Shop couldn't run inter club events.
70 players from Kew, Wauchope, South West Rocks, Port Macquarie, Frederickton, Kempsey and Crescent Head teed off in the 18-hole stableford event.

It was a tightly fought contest with many players jockeying for positions, but there was one player who was head and shoulders above the rest.
Anthony Knutsen from South West Rocks played a spectacular round, even showing the locals how to do it, handing in an outstanding score of 48 points! Congrats Tony!!
