KEMPSEY CHILDCARE services are eligible to apply for funding from the Community Child Care Fund (CCCF) to help keep their doors open, and increase the number of children in care from disadvantaged families.
The CCCF open competitive grants opportunity closes on February 22, with payments for successful applicants to start on July 1, and continue over the next three years.

Along with Kempsey, Macksville-Scotts Head, Nambucca Heads, Coffs Harbour North, and Coffs Harbour South are eligible to share in the $117 million fund.
Federal Member for Cowper Pat Conaghan urged childcare providers in these five areas of the electorate to apply for funding and help reduce barriers to access childcare and assist vulnerable children and families.
"Childcare providers play a valuable role in supporting country communities and are vital to our post-COVID recovery," he said.
"Every child deserves the best possible start in life, and the funding available will assist providers in improving local services and access to quality childcare.
"The grants will support services in these five areas that may be experiencing viability issues, or to fund capital projects and increase the number of places available for children where there is unmet demand.
"Grant recipients would share in $117 million over the next three years to reduce barriers to access childcare and assist vulnerable children and families in disadvantaged communities."
