Hosted by the Kempsey Cannonballs, the tournament saw 13 men's teams and five women's brave the wet and wild conditions for the chance to win the title.
In the men's cup final, Lennox Head proved too strong, defeating the SCU Marlins in a thrilling encounter for the ages.
The women's division saw Nelson Bay dominate the day, running out as comfortable winners against the Wanderers in the final.
Our Cannonbelles fielded a young, inexperienced side, but they grew as the day progressed, each match providing new lessons.
After a long day, the Cannonbelles managed to score a draw against the SCU Marlins in their final match of the competition.
The men's division had the largest field of teams, but it would be the Kempsey Cannonballs and Wauchope who would win through to the Plate Final.
After a tough game, the Cannonballs scored a gutsy victory over a staunch Wauchope side.

Captain Corey Gale led a very young team who acquitted themselves fantastically, with Lachlan Munday, in his senior rugby debut, putting on a particularly noteworthy performance.
The season ahead should be a good one with such a strong group of young players showing that they are well and truly ready for senior rugby.
Via their Facebook page, the Kempsey Cannonballs thanked all the teams, volunteers, spectators and sponsors for another successful year of hosting the Crescent Head Rugby sevens tournament.
"Huge thank you to all referees, volunteers, clubs, spectators and our sponsors NorEast Data and Crescent Head Country Club who made the Crescent Head 7's a great day of rugby today despite trying conditions."
"Your support of our competition is much appreciated. Congratulations to our winners on the day."
