The Seabreeze Fishing Club held its monthly competition on the weekend of March 6 & 7 and while conditions were not perfect there was still a good variety of fish weighed in, especially in the beach, rock & estuary section.
There were only four fish caught outside. They were a Spotted Mackerel weighing 5.405 kg, and a Tailor weighing 760 gm caught by Steve Thistle. Plus, a Spotted Mackerel weighing 4.100 kg, caught by Geoff Gardiner and a Spotted Mackerel weighing 4.175 kg, caught by Col Barber.
The beach, rock & estuary section was a different story.
