
The Seabreeze Fishing Club held its monthly competition on the weekend of March 6 & 7 and while conditions were not perfect there was still a good variety of fish weighed in, especially in the beach, rock & estuary section.
There were only four fish caught outside. They were a Spotted Mackerel weighing 5.405 kg, and a Tailor weighing 760 gm caught by Steve Thistle. Plus, a Spotted Mackerel weighing 4.100 kg, caught by Geoff Gardiner and a Spotted Mackerel weighing 4.175 kg, caught by Col Barber.
The beach, rock & estuary section was a different story.
Bream:
- senior - Damien Ashley, 550 gm
- lady - Margaret Wright, 510 gm
- junior boy - Daniel Lewis, 470 gm
- junior boy under 10 - Kye Cohen, 540 gm
- junior girl - Olivia Wright, 795 gm
Dusky Flathead:
- senior - Charlie Wright, 2.035 kg
- lady - Margaret Wright, 1.240 kg
- junior boy - Daniel Lewis, 690 gm
- junior boy under 10 - Kye Cohen, 675 gm
- junior girl - Olivia Wright, 785 gm

Whiting:
- senior - Bob Shakespeare, 370 gm
- lady - Kalindi Ashley, 310 gm
- junior boy - Arlo Ashley, 310 gm
- junior girl - Olivia Wright, 240 gm.
Tailor:
- Damien Ashley, 1.025 kg.
Angler of the Month:
- Inside - Damien Ashley with 5 species

Junior Angler of the Month:
- Olivia Wright with 3 species.
Our next monthly competition will be on the weekend of 3rd & 4th April (Easter weekend).
