In February 2006, with a venue sorted and accredited coach found, the Kempsey Macleay RDA started.
Marie Purkis, Yvonne Cooper and Chereyll Beard were there in 2006 and remain the last three involved from those original members.
"We've gone from strength to strength," Mrs Purkis told the Argus.
On Saturday the RDA celebrated their 15 year anniversary at Kempsey Showground with a demonstration for the audience.
Riders showed off their skills, conducting obstacle courses and other activities.
"It was a very successful day, we were very happy with it," Mrs Purkis, President of the Kempsey-Macleay RDA centre, said.
"The weather was perfect with riders performing beautifully and spectators interested in how proceedings went."
The RDA is in need of a wide variety of volunteers who have either horse experience or are skilled at light maintenance work.
Anyone that is a people person who enjoys helping others are welcome to join.
