Local film producers, Chris and Lyn Dockrill have donated a special screening of their film, The Island of Doctor Moron as a fundraiser for Kempsey PCYC.

Majestic Cinemas have also come on board to provide a screening venue for the fundraiser.
To date, the film has screened in 18 international film festivals across 11 countries.
It has received numerous nominations and awards, the most recent being in December and January, including Best Director and Best Costume at the Antwerp International Film Festival.
The film also won Best Director at the World Independent Cinema Awards in the UK.
The film has screened in five festivals in the USA and in Canada, Spain, New Zealand, Italy, Belgium, France, Australia, England, the Netherlands and Scotland.
"Lyn and I are delighted to see Doctor Moron return to his roots here in Kempsey and to be able to contribute to such a worthy cause as our local PCYC which provides such a worthwhile function for our community," Chris said.
"We are also looking forward to seeing and hearing the film on Majestic's state of the art equipment," he added.
The screening of the film will be on Sunday May 2 at 4pm. Tickets may be purchased via the cinema website or at the cinema however, the organisers expect a sell-out, so best to get in early.
