From pricing to sorting and everything else in between, volunteering with lifeline provides the opportunity to meet new people, be valued and give back.
Today's open day saw two new volunteers sign up for Lifeline Kempsey with another open day scheduled this Friday at 10 o'clock.
Volunteering for lifeline allows the organisation to continue their work in crisis support and suicide prevention with suicide remaining a leading cause of death for Australians aged between 15 and 44.
"Volunteers are the reason we are able to continue saving lives through our service," Lisa Willows, marketing coordinator at Lifeline Mid Coast, previously said.
Lifeline answered in excess of one million calls last year to 131-114 with demands on Lifeline services expected to continue to grow year by year.
