After travelling to Coffs Harbour on Sunday June 6th for their last match in the home and away games of the 2021 MNC Pennants, the Kempsey Div. 2 team has made the semifinals this Sunday.

The side defeated the Coffs team 3/2 and placed the side in the top position of their group.
The team of Bradley Dyet (c), Matt Lewis, Ross Leopold, Chris Kerr & Graeme Croad will now play the Grafton Team who finished 2nd in their group.
The two teams will meet at Woolgoolga at 10am this Sunday June 20 for a spot in grand final.
Congratulations to the team and best wishes for the semi-finals on Sunday.
Last Saturday at the club the 2021 Coastline Credit Union 18 hole Single Stableford event was held after being washed out earlier in the year.
With Saturday being the start of the June long weekend there was a good number of visitors in the large field of 90 players.
The visitors were from Frederickton, SWR, Crescent Head, Toronto, Wyong, Nelson Bay, Boggabri, Werris Creek, Ballina & Peninsula Kingswood County Club.
To the team at the Credit Union a big thank you for the sponsorship of the day and let's hope it's on again next year.
Again a big thank you goes to all the volunteers during the week for your work on the course and the head green keeper Graeme for a fantastic job.
Shane Maher from the Nelson Bay Club found the course in very good condition and produced the best round on the day with a score of 41 points to win the top grade from the Credit Union boss Peter Townsend who himself played well for his score of 40 points.
Another Nelson Bay member Brett Allman also enjoyed his game on Saturday and won the 'B' grade with his round of 39 points from Pam Bruce who continues to improve her game each week and recorded a score of 36 points for the runner up spot.
Ron Ingall who has returned to the golf scene after a short spell took out the 'C' grade on Saturday with a score of 35 points.
William Pollock was the runner up to Ingall with a score of 34 points.
Taking out the ntp's at the 3rd hole on Saturday was Brett Morrison 'A', Jeff Black 'B', Pat Preston (Fredo) 'C' & Nancy McNamara 'L'.
At the 8th hole the winners were Ross Leopold 'A', Ron Ingall 'C', Pam Bruce'L'.
On the 11th hole the winners were Conrad Tamblyn 'A', Trevor Bailey 'B'.
At the tough 16th hole the winners were Paul Hollis 'A', Phillip Ducat (SWR) 'B'.
In the weekly ball competition the winners were players with a score of 32 points on a countback and they can be collected from the pro shop at the club anytime along with any unclaimed vouchers from the event.
At the Kempsey Golf Club on Saturday the 2021 MVVS (Andrew Bennett) open 18 hole 2 person Ambrose event will be held.
The event will kick off from 7am from the first tee and all intending players can book in now at the club or go online to book in for your round and for more information about the upcoming events at the club please give Brad a call at the club anytime.
All players are reminded there is still COVID-19 rules at the club so please obey them on arrival.
