While it won't be held during the actual NAIDOC Week, due to the school holidays, the ceremony will still see all the usual festivities.
The day will include a Welcome to Country, a Smoking Ceremony performed by Aboriginal Elders, a flag raising, student's cultural dances, musical performances, speeches and stories.
After the assembly, the schools are hosting a Free Community Breakfast; all are welcome to attend.
This will mark the first collaboration between St Mary's Primary School Bowraville, Bowraville Community Preschool and Bowraville Central School to celebrate NAIDOC Week.
NAIDOC Week will fall between July 4 and 11 in 2021.
