Held at South West Rocks Country Club, some of the Macleay's best businesses were recognised for their efforts in what has been a tough period due to COVID.
Bucket Brewery, Furhill Pet Boarding, Oakland Race Products, Key Employment featured heavily.
Macleay Options Inc were the most successful on the night, taking out a highly commended in professional services award and excellence in business.
Employee Emily Jade Loveday was announced outstanding young business leader.
"Macleay Options next year will be celebrating about 60 years of conception," Macleay Options Inc general manager James Mainey said in his acceptance speech for excellence in business.
"We as a company are very focused on our clients and more importantly our staff."
Almost every owner, manager or employee who accepted an award re-enforced the importance of community support and the tireless work of their staff.
"Without [the support of] others, you're not going to get anywhere," Emma Mitchell, owner of Ironstone and Co, said after receiving the excellence in retail service award.
