At this stage, only the Kinchela Boys Home Aboriginal Corporation event "Our Journey to Now" will go ahead as planned.
The event is set to take place on Tuesday, July 6, at Kempsey Showground between 1 and 4pm.
A program handbook will be made available with confirmed rescheduled event details at a later date, subject to change based on current COVID-19 restrictions.
Events yet to be confirmed include the Community Morning Tea and Kempsey Family Fun Day.
Depending on COVID-19 restrictions, the remaining NAIDOC Week events are set to take place between Saturday, September 18, and Saturday, September 25.

- South West Rocks NAIDOC Cultural Day:10am to 1pm
- Kempsey NAIDOC 2021 Heal Country Dinner Dance: 6 to11pm
Sunday September 19
- Bellbrook Community Day (TBC): 10.30am to 2.30pm
Monday September 20
- Kempsey NAIDOC March: 10am to 11am
- Kempsey Flag Raising & NAIDOC Community BBQ: 11am to 1pm
- AES and Optus Outdoor Movie Night and Barebcue: 5 to 8pm
Tuesday September 21
- Kids Culture Bush Day: 9am to 2pm
- Wigay Aboriginal Cultural Park Family Day with Cultural Weaving and Mural Painting: 12.30 to 2pm
- Aboriginal Tracker Talk with Dr Michael Bennett: 4.30 to 5.30pm
Thursday 23rd September
- Kids Culture at the Sea: 9am to 2pm
- Elders Barefoot Bowls: 10am to 2pm
Friday 24th September
- Kempsey Toyota Mens Golf Day: 8.20am to 3.30pm
- Kids Disco: 5 to 8pm
- Ready Mob Netball Sports Day (over 40s) (TBC)
Saturday 25th September
- Stuarts Point Community Day (TBC)
Theme for 2021
The NAIDOC 2021 theme is Heal Country, and calls for greater protections for Aboriginal sacred sites and cultural heritage from exploitation, desecration, and destruction.
Traditionally, NAIDOC Week is held in the first week of July from Sunday to Sunday and incorporates the second Friday, which was historically celebrated as "National Aboriginal Day".
