
OFFICERS from Mid North Coast Police District are investigating after a man was struck and killed by a truck in Kempsey overnight.
At about 12.50am today, emergency services were called to the Old BP Service Station on Macleay Valley Way, near Goulds Ln, Clybucca, following reports a man had been hit by a truck.
On arrival, officers found the body of a man in the parking bay of the known truck stop.
The driver of the truck was taken for mandatory testing.
A crime scene was established and an investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
