The Shoreline construction site was closed yesterday after it was attended by the same positive case who attended the Hoey Moey bottle shop on July 15.

All workers at the site have been declared close contacts. They have been tested and directed to isolate at home for 14 days regardless of the test result.

NSW Health is also reminding anyone who attended the Hoey Moey on Thursday, July 15 between 3.55pm and 4.20pm that they are a close contact and must get tested and isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result, and call 1800 943-553 unless they have already been contacted by NSW Health.

"When a confirmed COVID-19 case attends a venue while possibly infectious, NSW Health carries out a risk assessment on that venue to determine whether other people may have been exposed and whether there is a public health risk," Mid North Coast Local Health District chief executive Stewart Dowrick said.

"Public health experts will determine if there is a public health reason for those potential exposure sites to be listed as venues of concern.

"As part of its investigation of potential exposure sites in the Coffs Harbour area, NSW Health directly contacts people known to have been at those places and they are advised to follow health advice.

"Please check the NSW Government website regularly, as the list of venues of concern and relevant health advice are being updated as investigations continue."

The Mid North Coast Local Health District has experienced increased COVID-19 testing since the Bondi cluster began in mid-June.

A new drive-through COVID-19 testing clinic opened yesterday at Coffs Harbour International Stadium to increase the district's testing capacity.

The clinic is open from 8am to 8pm on weekdays and 8am to 5pm on weekends.
