The Dockers under 11's team found themselves two points behind the Blues at quarter time in what looked to be a fairly even match up.
The second quarter saw the Dockers kick four unanswered goals with some clever passages of play from Jacob Skinner, Tyla Greenup-Smith and Riley Bechaz-Hatton.
The third and fourth quarters were won by the Dockers with Layne Cassidy dominating around the ground in the ruck contests.
Final scores were Dockers 6-12-48 to the Blues 1-3-9.
The under 13's game was a much more open style of match with long passing kicks and plenty of running.
The half-time score had the Dockers in front with five goals and five behind to the Blues one goal and two behinds.
The second half was all the Dockers with Bailey Kane outstanding all around the ground, Jerklyn Greenup-Smith and Lakkai Kelly linking up for several goals.
Malahkye Clarke was also outstanding at full-back.
The final scores were SWR Dockers 9-10-64 to the Blues 3-3-21.
The Dockers are going from strength to strength this year with 30 registered Auskick kids, 22 registered under 11's players which is the maximum allowed and 16 under 13's players.
Plans are in place to enter a senior women's team into the competition within the next two years.
Any women interested in playing can express their interest by contacting Mark Plummer on 0411 613 764.
The Dockers next games are at EJ Biffin Oval against Nambucca Valley Lions next Sunday and then their final game will be at South West Rocks Sports Field against Coffs Breakers on August 1.
