Another large field took to the fairways of the Kempsey Golf Club last Saturday for the 2021 Zach & Jessica Pritchard sponsored Open 18 hole 2 person Ambrose event.
The day was also the Qualifying round for the 2021 Keno Ambrose event.
With a large field of 104 players on the day the scores over the field were again very good.
To Zach & Jessica a very big thank you for your sponsorship of the day and to all the volunteers for your work on the course during the week.
Taking out the day with a very good net score of 63 and on a countback was the pairing of Jeremy Dowling and Danny Powick who combined very well on the day.
The runner up pair on the day after the countback was done was the pairing of Michael Flanders and Dempsey Donovan.
Taking out the best gross score on the day was the pairing of two our of top 'A' grade players Conrad Tamblyn and Mark Morrison with a 4 under par round of 68.
Winners of the ntp's at the 3rd hole were Bradley Dyet 'A', Kevin Hopping 'B', Brian Stringer 'C' & Nancy Mcnamara 'L'.
At the 8th hole the winners were Mark Morrison 'A', Max Gleeson 'B', Darcy Ellis 'C'.
The winners of the ntp's at the 11th hole on Saturday were Shooter McGavin 'A', Ethan Dowling 'B' & Deniece Dyet 'L'.
At the 16th hole the winners were Carlin Dunbar-Rudd 'A', Matt Doney 'B', Wayne Simmons 'C'.
On the day there was a long drive prize and the winners in each grade were Ian Rudd 'A', Nicholas Ingall 'B', Jeremy Dowling 'C', Justine Higgins 'L'.
In the weekly ball competition the winners on the day were players with a score of 67 net or better and they can be collected from the pro shop at the club anytime along with any unclaimed vouchers from the event.
On the day the qualifying round for the Keno Ambrose was held and going to the next round later in the year (hopefully) will be the team of Dowling & Powick along with Flanders & Donovan in the men's event and in the ladies event Cassie Black & Elizabeth will go on and in the mixed event the pairing of Graeme & Deniece Dyet will travel away for the next round.

Saturday at the club the 2021 Peter Hatton Open 18 hole Medley 2bbb Stableford and Individual event will be held.
All intending players can book in now at the club or go online to book in for your round and for more information about the upcoming events at the club please give the club a call.
