Kempsey Saints A grade women's side pulled up their white ribbon designed socks to the tune of a 3-0 win over the Camden Haven Redbacks on Saturday.

"We've had a few injuries this season so we did well with the 3-0 win, it was a windy day so most of the ball was played on the ground," captain Liana Tyne said.

Tyne and Marhee Tears were the goal-scorers for Saints.

The day was held as a white ribbon charity event with cake stalls and hairspray at the ground before a night function was held at West Kempsey Hotel.

"People were excited about the day's festivities," Tyne recounted.

"We had about 70-80 people at the top pub with Mark Morrison delivering a great speech.

"He reminded us we were not just raising money but raising awareness as well. His speech really hit home."

"We haven't completed our donation tally yet but after originally aiming for $1000 it looks like we've reached $3000."

In other results, Macleay Valley Rangers had a 2-1 win over Port United Vipers with Jayde Melville scoring for Rangers as well as an own goal.

Rangers currently sit outright first, three points ahead of Saints.

Upper Macleay Yowies travelled to Wauchope and had a close 2-1 loss to the Waratahs.

In the B grade, Saints drew 1-1 with Port Saints Foxes while Lake Cathie defeated Lower Macleay Brumbies 2-1.

The Coastal Premier League saw Saints face a busy four days with two fixtures.

A win came Kempsey's way on the Saturday, defeating Taree Wildcats 5-1 before they travelled to Sawtell on Tuesday, suffering a 6-3 loss in firsts while reserve grade had a 3-2 win.

Macleay Valley Rangers lost 6-0 to Coffs Coast Tigers on the Saturday, with a couple of players missing due to COVID concerns in Coffs.
