Finalists Angela Revell, Claire Fielding and Micheline Andrews all live on the North-West Coast of Tasmania and have been named as finalists in the prestigious awards.

After working within her father's computer repair business for many years, Ms Revell quickly noticed local businesses becoming overwhelmed with their technical business requirements.

When her father retired in 2012, she took over the business and rebranded.

From there it evolved from physical computer repairs to offering technical business solutions and education, while focusing on keeping it simple.

Ms Revell said she was delighted to be named as a finalist and was proud of her achievements, particularly assisting business to pivot when the pandemic hit by helping clients move into the digital space at short notice.

Claire Fielding, of Marion Storm Cafe and Firestorm Tacos & Bar, began her journey in the world of business after to moving to Devonport from Sydney.

Alongside her husband, she is raising four daughters and continues to build her hospitality empire with popular Mexican bar and restaurant Firestorm expected to expand to three locations by the end of the year.

"I love that I am my own boss who can plan life around my children's needs, as well as creating jobs and a work environment for our staff that too bring their children and families into our lives and makes them feel appreciated, while potentially furthering their careers," Ms Fielding said.

Mother of two Micheline Andrews owns two artisanal businesses: Take a Broth Tasmania and Culture Clean.

Ms Andrews was the first person in the world to make dehydrated bone broth powder and has since expanded her range to include more products that align with her values.

"It's really empowering and liberating being in charge of every aspect of my business," Ms Andrews said.

"This autonomy allows me to always be fully in alignment with my values and ethics.

"I hope to be a positive inspiration to young mums who aspire to create successful businesses for themselves."

Ms Revell is passionate about using her business experience to encourage other women to follow their ambitions.

"Do not let fear hold you back. The concerns you are experiencing are similar for almost every new business owner, " she said.

"Find yourself a friend in the business world and support each other to grow to your full potential. Then when you reach that - keep going."
