While there's no letter from the Queen, the company did receive many thanks from the Nambucca Valley Christian Community School (NVCCS) as they started extensive works on the school.
The project includes building a library, new classrooms, extending the playground and upgrading fire services.
That's one hundred different public, private schools, TAFEs and universities that have benefited from the works. Granted, they've been around for 75 years, but that adds up to a lot of experience in this specialised sector.
Matt Fearnley, a construction manager for Lahey was very happy with the ton.
"It's been great, majority of the projects have been regional, and being a predominately regional company it's fitting that the 100th school landed in the regions at Nambucca," Mr Fearnley said.
"It's amazing because it's just up the road from us, it has local contractors and a part of the local community."
While the pandemic prevented a big celebration, a small gathering was held to recognise and acknowledge the important role staff and everyone involved that played a part in reaching the milestone.
Lahey's recently completed educational projects are at NVCCS, the Nambucca TAFE Connected Learning Centre, Stages 2A and 2B at Charles Sturt University, and the Sustainability Centre at St Columba Anglican School.
