This means that the golf competition set down for tomorrow Saturday September 25th will again be played in groups of two and only one player per cart and you must leave straight after your round.
The 18 hole medley single stableford event to be held will see all players book in for the event by calling the club or going online to book in for your round.
The club hopes everyone will keep safe during these times and hopefully we will get back to normal ASAP.
Last Saturday at the club there was another fantastic field of 125 players to hit off in the 2021 May Racing 18 hole medley single stableford event.
A very big thank you goes to Tony & Aaron from May Racing for their sponsorship of the day and again to the volunteers who do a fantastic job each week on the course.
Darren De Joux was awarded the best score on the day after he recorded a round of 40 points on the day to claim the winners prize in the 'B' grade.
With a score of 38 points Daniel Powick got the runner up prize and with a round of 37 on a countback Pamela Bruce was awarded 3rd place.
Taking out the top grade on Saturday was Cedric Rudd who returned to golf after a lay off and recorded a round of 39 points to win the grade on a countback from the bridesmaid Brody (coat) Clarke also with 39 points.
With 37 points on a countback Michael Flanders was the 3rd place getting on Saturday in the top grade.
The 'C' grade winner this week was Ross Adams with 39 points from James Megaloconomos who recorded a round of 38 points for the runner up spot.
With 37 points also on a countback the 3rd place getter was Nancy McNamara.
This weeks winners of the ntp's at the 3rd hole were Clarke 'A', Simon Tamblyn 'B', Wayne Hutley 'C' & Cassie Black 'L'.
On the 8th hole the winners were David Griffin 'A', Peter 'Callo' Callaghan 'B', Steve Trott 'C'.
Paul Brose 'A', Chris Hudson 'B', Firey Tehan 'C' & Jill Stringer 'L' were the winners at the 11th hole while at the tough 16th hole the winners were Ross Leopold 'A', Simon Tamblyn 'B', Austin Northey 'C' & Jessica Pritchard in the ladies.
Brad Martin was this week's winner of the super tee ntp at the 18hole for the best 2nd shot to the green.
In the weekly ball Competition the winners were players with a score of 33 points on a countback and they can be collected from the pro shop at the club anytime along with any unclaimed vouchers from the event last Saturday.
As mentioned before Saturday will see the members hit off in the 2021 John Geange Smash Repairs 18 hole medley single stableford event with the first players hitting off from 7am.
A reminder that you must book in for your round now. With the COVID-19 rules in place please be aware of the rules at the club next please stay safe.
