COASTLINE Art Hub is inviting male artists on the Mid North Coast to showcase an artwork of theirs for November.
The initiative is to raise awareness for men's mental health.
This year's theme is "the world around us".
Alex Breen from Coastline discussed the exhibition.
"It is to show Coastline's support of men's mental health, and provide them a space to show their creative side," Ms Breen said.
"There is no fee to enter it, and you can sell / display your pieces, and any money the individual makes, they get to keep."
"This is our first time doing this event, and we also do the women's mental health month as well."
Coastline are offering a $500 prize for the artwork that receives the most 'likes' on Coastline's Art Hub Facebook Page
If you have a creative piece of work that you would like to display, please reserve your space. There is no fee to display, and if the piece is sold Coastline will not charge a commission fee.
Booking is essential for this exhibition
The display will be from Monday November 1 until Saturday November 27 with the gallery located at 26-28 Smith Street Kempsey.
Local artist, Jason Ridgeway, shared his thoughts on the event.
"I think its really good, it's a way for men to to expose their art talents, because a lot of people don't actually put their stuff out there, and this provides a great platform for them," Mr Ridgeway said.
