Macleay Options is a not-for-profit organisation that provides disability support under the NDIS, and are also an Australian disability employer.
The store acts as a showroom for the organisations industry goods like Woodies Hardwood / recycled timber products and Threads fabric products.
It also sells community donated goods (second hand clothes, books, furniture).
There will still be a store located on 19a Elbow St, West Kempsey.
General manager James Mainey had a chat with the Argus.
"For us to have two stores just isn't viable, and the second store (Elbow St) is more in line with NDIS clients," Mr Mainey said.
"By closing this store down it lets us put more resources into clients working in the other store, because it's not a retail store for making money, but for us to provide services to the clients."
New products are up to 50% off with 20% off Threads and Woodies stock, so pop on in if you have a spare minute in the next week or so.
The store is currently open on weekdays from 9am- 4:30pm.
